Blue Kitchen Aid Mixer Models Reviews

Love the color blue? You can choose from one of many shades when buying a blue KitchenAid mixer for your kitchen! Light, medium and dark, there is a whole range of blue colors available.

Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer is Aqua Sky Blue

There is an 5-Qt. Artisan Series Aqua Sky blue Kitchenaid Stand mixer that is a lovely light blue with just a touch of green in it.

Aqua Sky blue Kitchenaid mixer is a lovely shade of lighter blue.

These models are tilt-head mixers. The bowl holds 5–quarts and is made of stainless steel. It is dishwasher safe, so no worries about having to wash it by hand.

The Artisan series is probably the most popular available from Kitchenaid. It certainly is if you go by the sales numbers. People like this mixer, and with good reason. It’s heavy-duty, out-performs other mixers in the same price range, and is a treat to look at as well!

Blue Willow KitchenAid Stand Mixer

You can get a much darker shade of blue if you purchase a kitchenaid mixer blue willow. It’s a nice deep blue with a shiny finish.

Check out this picture of a kitchenaid mixer in the blue willow shade. Deep, dark and Luscious!

The blue willow Kitchenaid mixer is another of the Artisan series of mixers, which is the most popular brand of KitchenAid stand mixers, indeed of any stand mixers!

They are all 10-speed mixers, and allow you to slowly start mixing ingredients without making the flour fly all over the kitchen, but by speed 10 you’ve got the speed and power to make meringue or any recipe that requires fast beating.

Blueberry KitchenAid Mixer Model

Also available is a blueberry shade of the artisan mixers. This particular model comes with a glass bowl instead of the stainless steel version. There are graduated measurement markings on the side of the bowl to make it even more useful.

The blueberry color of kitchenaid stand mixer is dark and delicious, just like the fruit!

As you can see from the picture, like all the Artisan series mixers, this stand mixer has a tilt-head to allow you to move the beater up and out of the bowl.

The beater, dough hook or wire whip rotate around inside the bowl in what is called a 59-Point Planetary Mixing Action. To translate, that means each time the beater goes around inside the bowl, it touches the sides 59 times. This rapid motion mixes ingredients thoroughly, from top to bottom, inside and out, and all around.

You may need to scrape down the sides of the bowl from time to time, but this stand mixer does an excellent job of getting an evened out mixture.

KitchenAid Stand Mixer in Cobalt Blue

But hang on! There are even more shades of blue stand mixer models available! One of the most popular colors is the cobalt blue kitchenaid mixer model.

A cobalt blue kitchenaid mixer would be a pretty addition to any kitchen, and a hard working stand mixer!

To me this shade looks a lot like the Blue Willow color. I imagine you need to see them side by side to get a real feel for the 2 different colors, but you can get a pretty good idea of the similarity by looking at the graphic at the end of this blue Kitchenaid stand mixers review.

The 6-Qt. Professional 600 Series KitchenAid mixer is also available in cobalt blue if you would like an even more heavy duty mixer.  The main differences between the two mixers is the fact the 600 series has a 6 quart bowl instead of a 5 quart bowl like the Artisan mixer, so of course you can mix up more stuff at once.

Also, instead of the tilt-head used in Artisan mixers, the Pro Kitchen Aid series uses a lever to move the bowl up and down, and the head stays stationary.

The beater of a Pro series touches the bowl 8 more times as often as the Artisan series.

As you might imagine, the Pro series is also more expensive than the Artisan, but that’s to be expected since it has a bigger bowl and allows you to do more mixing at once.

KitchenAid Cornflower Blue Mixer

One of my favorite shades is the cornflower blue stand mixer. This shade is available in the Artisan series. No surprise there as there are more colors of Artisan mixers than any other  model.

This kitchenaid cornflower blue stand mixer is one of my favorites shades of blue. But if you do not like it, there are plenty of others to choose from!

That’s a lovely shade of blue that would go well in a lot of different colored kitchens. It’s kind of mid-range, and would blend well with other shades of blue.

Like all Artisan mixers, it has a 5 quart bowl, this one being in stainless steel.

Crystal Blue KitchenAid Mixer Model

For a little different shade of medium blue, how about crystal blue?

It's crystal clear this kitchenaid crystal blue mixer is a winning color.

Since it is also an Artisan model of KitchenAid stand mixer, it has the same features already mentioned when talking about the blue Artisan models above.

Kitchen Aid Electric Blue Mixer Model for Zing in the Kitchen!

So many shades of blue, and we’re not done yet! How about an electric blue mixer?!

A kitchenaid electric blue mixer will add sizzle to your kitchen!

That does have a sheen to it! Very vibrant blue. It would be showy in any kitchen.

This is one of the Artisan Design series of Kitchen aid stand mixers, so instead of a stainless steel bowl, it has the glass bowl with measurement markings. It’s a really pretty mix of blue, silver and glass elegance.

The Artisan design models have pretty much the same features as the regular Artisan stand mixers; the biggest difference being the glass instead of metal bowl.

KitchenAid Mixer on Ice: Blue That Is!

And last but certainly not least, here’s another one of the wildly popular blue colors, an ice blue KitchenAid mixer.

The kitchenaid ice blue mixer is a cool shade of blue to add to your kitchen.

As you can see from the above picture, this is one of the regular Artisan mixers with the stainless steel bowl of 5 quart capacity. Tilt head, 10 speeds, 59-touchpoint… just an all around great mixer!

This color is also available in the 4.5-quart model KitchenAid mixer. This is a classic model of KitchenAid mixer, but really, the only difference is the stainless steel mixing bowl is half a quart smaller. It’s also a little more difficult to find this particular mixer sometimes, as it isn’t always in stock. Since it is sometimes more expensive than the Artisan, for my money I’d just get an Artisan mixer, get the extra half quart, and probably spend less.

More mixer for less money is a good thing, don’t you agree?
